Hi Eddie,
This is a good skill for players to have as it allows them to quickly pass over long distances while keeping the ball on the floor, making it easier for the receiving player to control.
In terms of how to practice the skill I would recommend going over the basics of the skill with your players first, explaining technique and demonstrating good execution of the technique, before then getting players to work in pairs (see chalkboard below).
After this I'm sure you could create a conditioned game where, for the first 5 minutes, the only type of pass allowed is the driven pass.
