DESCRIPTION

  1. Ears in the water, eyes looking at the ceiling 
  2. Tummy up at surface 
  3. Leg kick comes from the hip 
  4. Legs straight with slight bend at the knee 
  5. Relaxed, floppy ankles

COACHING POINTS

If you find they are bending in the middle and their bottom is sinking, encourage them to do 'banana tummies' where they push their bellies out. This generally has the desired effect of getting them flatter in the water.
